She believes that all foods fit in a healthy eating plan, and her goal is to help her clients balance their meals and snacks for better blood sugar control while also maintaining the joy of eating.

Jamie completed Sodexo's dietetic internship program with a concentration in diabetes. Prior to her current job as a pediatric diabetes educator at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, she worked at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center as a clinical dietitian, and was the diabetes educator for their Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division.
Jamie completed Sodexo's dietetic internship program with a concentration in diabetes. Prior to her current job as a pediatric diabetes educator at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, she worked at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center as a clinical dietitian, and was the diabetes educator for their Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division. She was also previously an adjunct professor at Montclair State University in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies.
Jamie has experience working with individuals with prediabetes and several forms of diabetes, including type 1, type 2, gestational, post-transplantation, MODY, LADA, and more. She provides medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and many other health conditions, including, but not limited to, overweight/obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic kidney disease, end stage renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and food allergies and intolerances. She is a certified pump trainer for multiple insulin pump companies, and is well versed in reviewing and analyzing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data.
